Google Pay allows fast checkout for users on Android devices and the Chrome browser. 

WP Easy Pay integrates Google Pay through Square, making it easy to enable and use on supported payment forms.

This guide explains how to enable Google Pay from the plugin settings and how it works on the front end.

Enable Payment Methods in Square

1. Log in to your Square Dashboard
2. Go to Settings → Checkout / Payment Methods
3. Enable the desired payment methods (Afterpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)

Enable Google Pay in WP Easy Pay

Follow the steps below to activate Google Pay:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Navigate to WP Easy Pay → Square Connect.
3. After Square connected successfully, locate the Google Pay option in the payment methods list.

4. Check the Google Pay checkbox to enable it.

5. Click Save Settings to apply the changes.

Once saved, Google Pay will be available on eligible payment forms.

Note: Google Pay availability depends on your Square account, region, and device compatibility.

How Google Pay Appears on the Front End

After enabling Google Pay, customers will see it as a payment option during checkout.

Customer Payment Flow

1. Visit the page where the payment form is published.

2. Fill in the required form details (such as name, email, and amount).

3. Select Google Pay as the payment method.

4. Click the Buy with Google Pay button.

5. A secure Google Pay popup will appear.

6. Enter your login credentials.

• Click Pay to complete the payment.

• Your payment has been processed with Google Pay successfully.

The transaction is processed securely through Square.

Important Notes

• This Google Pay customer payment flow can be observed in Test Mode
• The option only shows on supported devices and browsers
• Ensure Google Pay is enabled and approved in your Square Dashboard
• Always verify successful transactions in the Square Dashboard
