Apple Pay allows users to make one-tap payments on Apple devices like iPhone and iPad, and in the Safari browser. 

WP Easy Pay integrates Apple Pay via Square, providing a secure, seamless checkout experience on supported devices and browsers.

This guide explains how to enable Apple Pay from the admin settings and how it works on the front end.

Enable Payment Methods in Square

• Log in to your Square Dashboard
• Go to Settings → Checkout / Payment Methods
• Enable the desired payment methods (Afterpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)

Enable Apple Pay from the Admin Dashboard

Follow these steps to activate Apple Pay in WP Easy Pay

1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
2. Navigate to WP Easy Pay → Square Connect.
3. After connecting Square successfully, you will be redirected to the Square Payment Gateway Settings page.

4. Locate the Apple Pay option in the list of payment methods.

5. Check the Enable Apple Pay checkbox to activate the feature.

6. Click the verify domain button then it will be verified.

7. Click Save Settings to apply the settings.

Once saved, Apple Pay becomes available on supported payment forms if accessed in Apple-supported devices.

How Apple Pay Appears on the Front End

After Apple Pay is enabled, customers can choose it as a payment option during checkout.

Customer Payment Flow

1. Open the page where the payment form is published.

2. Fill in the required form details (name, email, amount, etc.).

3. Select Apple Pay as the payment method.

4. Click the Buy with Apple Pay button.

5. A secure Apple Pay popup will appear.
6. Confirm the payment using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode.
7. Click Continue to complete the transaction.

The payment is processed securely via Square.

Important Notes

• Apple Pay works only in the Safari browser for both Test Mode and Live Mode
• Apple Pay availability depends on Square account eligibility and region
• Ensure Apple Pay is enabled and approved in your Square Dashboard
• The option appears only on Apple-supported devices
