Welcome back to another setup configuration guide where we will be discussing how you can create and set a fixed amount in your payment forms. This is a step-by-step guide where we have added images as help references.

Since there are just three amount of layouts available in form settings (Radio, Dropdown, and Custom), a lot of users get confused while trying to set just one amount in the form. You can set a fixed amount in your form if you want to restrict your customers/visitors on paying a pre-defined amount and nothing else.
In this guide, we are going to teach you how you can set a fixed price in the current form.

Step # 1:

In order to set a fixed price, you will have to select the “Payment custom layout” option from the “Amount Type” dropdown menu, as shown in the image.

Step # 2:

Select and enter the amount in the first field and leave the rest of the fields blank. Keep the “Enable other amount fields on payment form” option unchecked.

Now you can update the form settings and place the shortcode on the page or post you want to display your payment form on.
Here is a look at how the form will look like.

The amount you set is selected by default eliminating the need for the user to choose anything else.
In case you are wondering why we have mentioned the button with the amount, then let us tell you that it’s a workaround until we launch the fixed price feature where the user will only be able to see the amount on the Pay button and nowhere else. Until then, you can use this workaround to offer your customers the option to pay a fixed price without the hassle of selecting or typing.

Bonus Tip:

In case you wish to hide the “Select amount” text is written above the blue amount button, you can simply click the customize button on the top menu.


Now, click on the Additional CSS tab and paste the following code in the editor:

We have received great feedback from users on the latest release 3.1.9. Google Pay was a much-awaited feature in WP EASY PAY that we have been receiving requests for since the launch of version 3 and it is finally available in our latest version but apart from all the great features we also receive small feature requests from customers and after our last update, we have received multiple requests from users for the option to export reports and customer data for remarketing purposes.

Although this feature is in the development pipeline we would not like our customers to wait for too long to export their data. In this blog post, we are going to teach you how you can use WP ALL EXPORT (Free Plugin) to export your transaction reports and all other customer data in just 5 steps after plugin installation.

Step # 1
Once your plugin is installed and activated go to the plugin’s main menu and click on New Export and then click on Specific Post Type button to select your Reports post type from the dropdown.

Step # 2
Once done, go ahead and click on the Customize Export File button so we can pick which fields we would like to export.

Step # 3
Now you will be redirected to the page with Drag & Drop fields options. Select Custom Fields from the sidebar and start dragging & Dropping the fields you need in your CSV or XLS file

Step # 4
Once done, click the continue button and then you will be represented with the final page where you can start the process of exporting. Go ahead and click the button Confirm & Run Export

Step # 5
The export will take a while to complete and then you will be presented with the option to choose how would you like to download your data. Bundle and CSV are two options. Choose according to your need.

Bonus Point:
In case if you need to export this same data again you will not have to repeat these steps. Instead, you can simply go to Manage Exports submenu in the WP All Export main menu and find your recent data export template. whenever you will export data the plugin will automatically create a template for your ease.

STEP#1:

HOW TO INSTALL WP EASYPAY (PREMIUM) PLUGIN IN WORDPRESS SITE AND ACTIVATE LICENCE KEY

The first step is to install WP EasyPay (Premium) plugin on your WordPress site and activate its license key. You can read the complete technical documentation here.

STEP #2:

ACTIVE SQUARE ACCOUNT (YOU CAN SIGN-UP FOR FREE)

You need to have an active Square account in order to get started. If you already have a Square account then simply sign-in using your credentials. In case you don’t have a Square account, you can create one by visiting the official Square website.


STEP #3:

WP EASYPAY GLOBAL SETTINGS

Here is a glimpse of how WP EasyPay global setting mode works with the Live Payment option.

Once you click on the ‘Connect Square’ button, you will see an authentication message pop-up

Now, you will be able to configure settings for email notification, currency type, and location. Make sure to click the ‘Save Settings’ button before moving forward.

NOTE: Your Square account currency type and WP EasyPay currency selection should be the same for them to work perfectly.


STEP #4:

CREATE PAYMENT FORM WITH WP EASYPAY

 

(a) Form Creation

After installing the WP EasyPay premium plugin and connecting it with an active Square account, you can create a payment form using global settings. Global settings enable you to connect multiple payment forms with your square account.

(b) Form Settings

Go to the “form settings” options to create a form title, form description, popup button title. Also, select your preferred donation type (like simple or recurring).

You can also choose how your WP EasyPay donation form should appear to donors (pop-up/modal or multi-step/wizard).

STEP #5:

RECURRING DONATION (SUBSCRIPTION CYCLE)

 

(a) Subscription Cycle

You can configure the settings for your subscription cycle by selecting your preferred options from a drop-down menu under each category (no. of payments, days/weeks/months, donation frequency).

You can also select the appropriate color scheme for your form as per your branding relatedness.

(b) Amount Types:

There are three types of payment layouts available for your form(s). The options are as the following:

(1) Radio Listing Layout

(2) Dropdown Layout

(3) Custom Layout

You can also enable a custom amount field on the payment form.

STEP #6:

REDIRECTION ON SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT

The next step is to set up a redirection URL for donors who have made a successful payment. Set redirection time, successful payment message, button labels, postal placeholder, and terms and condition (If any).

You could always end a subscription and create a new one like in the previous version, but now you can also pause and run it at will! Simply pause the subscription from the back-end without ending or eliminating it and run it again whenever you need to.

5. Wizard Form Layout:

 

The Wizard form layout is a step-by-step tab interface that is perfect for signups and payments. Our newly introduced form wizard layout provides a clean and easy to use interface that helps visitors type information in a well-organized manner without having to face tons of confusing controls.

The user will only be able to go to the next step after the current step has been filled-incorrectly. Furthermore, you can use the wizard form layout in the pop-up window if you want.

 

6. Multiple Amount Layouts:

Use multiple amount layouts through the form builder to give your users the luxury to select their payment in three different styles.

– Payment layout in dropdown – Display your amount and its labels in a dropdown menu.

– Payment layout in radio-listing – Display your amount and its labels through radio buttons. 

– Payment custom layout – Display a customizable field through which the user can enter their desired amount.

You can now add extra fields to your form through the form builder, but the best part about this feature is that you can use the field tags for multiple purposes.

Step 2: On your left side click on WPEP Square settings, select the Mode (Live OR Test) and insert Application ID,Token and Location ID from your Square account then click on save changes.

 

Step 3: Setup for Simple Payments:

Short Code: Place this short code at the Page where you want to show WP Easy Pay

Notification Email: insert your email address for notification

Type: Simple Payment

Button Text: Enter the text you want to show on button

Amount: insert the amount to want to collect from user

Click on save changes as shown below

 

Step 4: Setup for Accepting Donations Payments:

Short Code: Place this short code at the Page where you want to show WP Easy Pay

Notification Email: insert your email address for notification

Type: Simple Payment

Button Text: Enter the text you want to show on button

Amount: insert the amount to want to collect from user

Organization Name: Write the name of your organization or the name of cause use for collecting donations.

User set donation amount: check on this option if you want user to insert amount otherwise accept fixed amount from user.

Click on save changes as shown below
