Connect the Dedicated Square Account for the Specific Form

Overview

By default, every form in WP Easy Pay uses the global Square connection configured in:

WP Easy Pay → Square Connect

However, you may want a specific form to use a different Square account/location or to run in Sandbox (test) mode. WP Easy Pay allows you to override the global connection for any specific form.

This feature is available in WP Easy Pay’s premium version.

This guide explains how to connect a dedicated Square account for a specific form.

Where to Dedicated Square Account Connection Settings

To connect Square account for a specific form:

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to: WP Easy Pay → All Forms
3. Select the form you want to edit.

Open the Square Account Settings tab.

Using Global Square Settings

By default, the Use Global Settings toggle is enabled.

When this option is ON:

• The form uses the Square connection configured in Square Connect
• No additional configuration is required
• All payments follow the global environment settings

You will see a message indicating that Global settings are active.

Using a Different Square Account for a Form

If you want the form to use a different Square account:

1. Turn Use Global Settings OFF.
2. Click Connect Square (for Live mode) or Connect Square (Sandbox).

Note : Important for Sandbox Connections

When connecting a Square Sandbox account, make sure the Square Developer Dashboard is already open in the same browser before clicking the Connect button. This helps ensure the authorization process completes correctly.

3. Log in to Square and complete the authorization process.

After connecting, this form will process payments using the selected Square account.

Test Payment Mode

If your form uses a per-form Square connection, you may see a Test Payment option.

This allows you to force test mode for a specific form, while other forms continue using live payments.

When to Use a Dedicated Square Account

You may want to override the global connection when:

• One form processes payments for a different business or location
• You want to test one form in Sandbox mode
• You need separate test and live payment forms
