Overview

WP Easy Pay allows you to add additional charges to a payment form. These charges appear as separate line items and are included in the final payment amount.

Additional charges can be used for:

  • Processing fees
  • Taxes
  • Service charges
  • Handling fees

Where to Configure Additional Charges

To add additional charges:

  1. Edit your form.
  2. Navigate to the Additional Charges tab.

How to Add a Charge

Each charge includes the following settings:

SettingsDescription
Enable ChargeActivate the charge row
Service NameLabel shown to customers
Charge TypePercentage or fixed amount
ValueCharge amount

Use the Add Charge (+) button to create multiple charges.

Example Use Cases

Common ways to use additional charges include:

  1. Processing Fee

Add a small percentage to cover card processing costs.

Example: 2.5% card processing fee

  1. Sales Tax

Add a tax percentage required by your region.

Example: 8% sales tax

  1. Handling Fee

Add a fixed amount for service handling.

Example: $5 handling fee

Multiple charges can be combined if needed.
