How to Set Up Square Gift Card in WordPress

With WP Easy Pay, you can now seamlessly integrate Square Gift Cards into your WordPress site, offering your customers a convenient way to make payments using gift cards. This feature enables users to easily and securely pay for products or services using their Square Gift Cards through dedicated payment forms.

How to Integrate Square Gift Cards into Your Payment Forms

Navigate to Square Connect from the Admin dashboard and connect your account using the “Connect Square” button.

Note: Square Gift Cards are only functional with Live Payments. If you wish to test the gift card functionality, you can obtain a test Gift Card code.

After connecting your Square account, select your Location and check the Square Gift Card checkbox to enable the feature.

Save your changes using the “Save Settings” button before proceeding.

Now, start building your form by selecting the “Create Payment Form” option from the left menu tab and open it on the frontend of your WordPress site.

Your customers can now easily and securely pay with their Square Gift Cards.

Note: Square Gift Cards can only be used for full payments. Partial payments are not supported.

Once the gift card payment is successfully processed, your customer will receive a confirmation message, and the transaction will be completed.

You can also view the payment details from the Reports section.

Click the ID (in this example, #133) to go to the payment details.
