Update #1: A Completely New Onboarding Experience
Getting started with a new plugin should feel simple.
That’s why we’ve added the WP Easy Pay onboarding experience from the ground up.
The new welcome screen helps you understand what WP Easy Pay can do, connect your Square account, and access the resources you need without searching through multiple pages.
What’s New?
The new onboarding screen includes:
- A cleaner and more modern welcome experience
- Quick access to connect your Square account
- A step-by-step setup guide
- A short video walkthrough that shows how to create your first payment form
- Direct links to important documentation
- Real customer reviews from WordPress users
- Easy access to premium features and upgrade information
Update #2: Display Organization Names and Goal Messages on Donation Forms
Donation forms work best when supporters clearly understand who they are donating to and why their contribution matters.
With this release, you can now display your organization’s name and donation goal message directly on the front end of your donation forms.
Why This Matters
When donors can immediately see the organization behind a campaign, trust increases. Also, when they understand the purpose of the fundraising goal, they feel more connected to the cause.
This update helps provide that context before a donor submits a payment.
What You Can Show
You can now display:
- Organization name at the top of the donation form
- Donation goal heading
- Donation goal description
- Organization name again at the bottom of the form
If you prefer a simpler layout, you can disable the goal message and keep the form focused on collecting donations.
This gives nonprofits and fundraising organizations more flexibility while creating a clearer donation experience for supporters.
Update #3: Reports Are Now Transactions
As WP Easy Pay continues to grow, we want the plugin terminology to be clearer and more intuitive.
That’s why we’ve renamed the Reports section to Transactions.
The new name better reflects what users actually see and manage inside this area.
The New Transactions Screen
The Transactions page provides a centralized location to review and manage payment activity across your forms.
You can:
- View all transactions in one place
- Review customer emails and payment details
- Filter records
- Export transaction data to CSV
- Perform bulk actions
- Manage spam and trash entries
The updated naming makes navigation more straightforward for both new and existing users.
Update #4: See Transaction Counts Directly in the Forms Table
Managing multiple forms often requires jumping between screens to understand which forms are receiving submissions.
This release makes that process much easier.
We’ve added a new Transactions column to the All Forms table.
Instant Visibility into Form Activity
The new column displays the total number of transactions associated with each form.
At a glance, you can quickly identify:
- Your most active payment forms
- Donation forms are receiving contributions
- Forms with little or no activity
Jump Straight to Related Transactions
The transaction count is fully clickable.
When you click a transaction count, WP Easy Pay automatically opens the Transactions page and filters the results to show only the entries associated with that specific form.
This removes extra clicks and helps you find the information you need faster.
